Pointe Coupee Fire Protection District 4 depends on dedicated volunteers who are willing to serve their neighbors when it matters most. As a volunteer firefighter, you’ll be part of a trained team responding to fires, medical emergencies, rescues, and other critical incidents across southern Pointe Coupee Parish.
No prior experience? No problem. We provide the training, equipment, and support—you bring the commitment.

Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for responsible, community-minded individuals who:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Can pass a background check and driving record review
- Are willing to complete required training and attend scheduled drills

- Gear & Equipment: Provided at no cost to you
- Response Duties: You’ll assist with fire suppression, rescue, and support tasks based on your training level
